Our Story

Founded in 2007, Alhidayah Centre has blossomed into a vibrant masjid and madrasah. Our primary mission is to provide comprehensive Islamic education to the community through our diverse range of classes. Currently, we support over 350 students across various programs, including Saturday and Weekday Madrasah for 6-17 year olds. Additionally, we offer a variety of classes for adults.

Beginning 2007

We began by hiring halls for Jummah prayers in the Northern suburbs and soon after started a volunteer-based Madrasah program for our young children on Saturdays.

Incorporate 2008

We soon after incorporated as an organisation with like-minded individuals.

Purchased a Warehouse to convert to a Masjid 2013

As we grew, we realised the need for a permanent location. With the support of the community, we were able to purchase our current location and, with the help of volunteers, we set up the space to serve our needs.

Expansion with Edison Rise land 2019

A community meeting was held to discuss our future vision in 2017 and later that resulted in us considering the purchase of the land across the street for future development in 2021. Alhamdulilah we managed to secure 10,000sqm of empty land across the current Masjid building.
